Silvana Cardell is a choreographer born in Buenos Aires and living in Philadelphia whose work explores the expressive and transformative power of movement and social change. Her repertory has been presented nationally and internationally. She holds a MFA from Temple University and an BFA from UARTS. A Guggenheim Fellow in Choreography (2022). Through Cardell Dance Theater and the studio, she continues todevelop innovative contemporary works, supported by the Philadelphia Cultural Fund and the Creative Flex Fund, expanding the presence of dance as a vital art form.
Anabella Lenzu is an Argentine dancer, choreographer, scholar, and educator with over 35 years of experience across Argentina, Chile, Italy, and the U.S. She founded Anabella Lenzu/DanceDrama in New York in 2006, creating 15 original works and performing over 400 times in 100 venues worldwide. Her dance-theater explores identity, memory, and social awareness through movement, theater, and visual art. Appointed President of the American Dance Guild in 2024, Lenzu continues to champion dialogue and connection in the dance community.
