Family Dance Class | Sundays Fall 2026

Class Dates:

• October 25th through November 22nd (NO CLASS 11/8)

Class Description:

• A creative dance and improvisation class for all ages, and an opportunity for families to dance together. Each session includes a gentle warm-up and playful, open-ended movement prompts (“games” or “scores”) that invite participants to create dances together in real time. Everyone engages at their own level, fostering imagination, connection, and shared discovery across generations.
• Led by Loren Groenendaal, who teaches movers from young children to professional adult improvisers, bridging those worlds in a shared creative space.

• The studio is up a long flight of stairs. If stairs are a barrier, we sincerely apologize. Aside from this limitation, the class is open to all ages and abilities.

Class Rates

• Drop-In Options:
  • Single class for Caregiver & one child: $30 (Pay online or in person via cash)
    • Single class for Caregiver & two children: $40 (Pay online or in person via cash)
• Class Packages:
  • 4-class package: Caregiver & one child: $105, Caregiver & two children: $140
• Cash Registration: follow the payment link for drop-in and select “Cash” as your payment method instead of “Credit Card.”
