Modern Dance Techniques for Ages 7-9 with Teacher Loren Groenendaal
Thursdays 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Pickup window: 5:00–5:15 pm
This class is designed for young dancers ages 7 to 9 (grades 2-4) eager to learn contemporary dance techniques, and will encourage students to move through space, focusing on body initiations, impulses, and dynamic changes. This class provides training through technical and creative warm-ups and phrases; and will develop the young dancer’s creativity by providing opportunities to create their own movements and dances through improvisational and choreographic structures. Students will dance fully while having fun and being empowered.
Spring 2026 is a 22-class session starting on January 8th and ending on June 11th (NO CLASS on April 2nd)
Spring Registration Cost: $595 for one child, $1,070 for two children
There is a 10% discount applied upon selecting the “two children” registration option.
There is a registration fee automatically applied that goes toward secure electronic payment.
Payment plans/payment in installations are possible. Partial and full scholarships for children’s programming are available. To inquire about scholarships and payment plans, please contact Silvana Cardell at silvana@cardelldancetheater.com
