Instructors: Loren Groenendaal

Tuesdays 4:15 -5:15 pm

This class will introduce children 5 to 7  years old to creative movement and dance techniques. This playful approach to learning dance will foster children’s creativity and will channel their innate need to move.

Spring session 1 is an 8-class session starting on 1/9/24 and ending on 2/27/24.

Spring session 2 is an 8-class session starting on 4/2 and ending on 6/18.

Spring session 2 has a mid-session break and no class on 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, and 5/21.

There is a 20% discount applied to enrolling for sessions 1 and 2 combined (1/9-6/18).

We pick up students at Bache-Martin Elementary School at dismissal time 2:55.  If you need your child to be picked up at dismissal time contact Loren at:  LorenTeachesMovement@gmail.com

While the studio is busy with a theatre residency, Teachers Loren and Olivia are providing an alternate program with pick-up from Bache-Martin during the mid-session break of Session 2 (April 30-May 21) and supervised engagement until our regular 5:15pm. This program will include snack and free play and enrichment through dancing outside, observation of nature and architecture, and making visual art. If the weather doesn’t allow for outdoor activities, we find safety and fun inside, likely games at Thirsty Dice. The cost for this 4 week program is $160 to be paid to Loren. Email LorenTeachesMovement about signing up for this program.
We will not be providing an alternate program for the break between Sessions 1 and 2 (March 5-26) as it is colder outside and this time overlaps with varied spring breaks.
