Creative Dance Foundations for Ages 5-7 with Teacher Loren Groenendaal
Tuesdays 4:00-5:00 pm
Pickup window: 5:00–5:15 pm
- This class will introduce children 5 to 7-year-olds to creative movement and dance techniques. This playful approach to learning dance will foster children’s creativity and will channel their innate need to move. This class encourages creative expression through movement and includes elements of ballet and modern dance techniques, folk dance, and gymnastics skills. Students will build coordination, strength, flexibility, balance, social and creative skills. This class prepares the young dancer to learn more stylized forms when they are older like Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, and Jazz
Spring 2026 is a 21-class session beginning January 6th and ending June 9th (NO CLASS on Feb. 17th and March 31st)
Fall 2026 is a 17 class session beginning August 25th and ending December 15th.
Fall Registration Cost: $450 for one child, $810 for two children
- There is a 10% discount available upon selecting the “two children” registration option.
- There is a registration fee automatically applied that goes toward secure electronic payment.

Cardell Dance Studio offers an after-school pickup service for an additional fee through LorenTeachesMovement. This pickup service is exclusively for students enrolled in the dance class.

After school pickup, children will enjoy snack and playtime until class begins at 4:00 PM.
