Modern Dance for Ages 10 and up with Teacher Loren Groenendaal
Mondays 5:15-6:15 pm
Fall 2026 is a 14-class session beginning August 24th and ending December 14th (NO CLASS on 9/7, 9/21, or 10/12).
Fall Registration Cost: $375–one child, $675–two children (10% discount applied)
This class is designed for young dancers ages 10 and up (grades 5 and up) eager to learn modern dance techniques, and will encourage students to move through space, focusing on body initiations, impulses, and dynamic changes. This class provides training through technical and creative warm-ups and phrases; and will develop the young dancer’s creativity by providing opportunities to create their own movements and dances through improvisational and choreographic structures. Students will dance fully while having fun and being empowered.
There is a registration fee automatically applied that goes toward secure electronic payment.
Payment plans/payment in installations are possible. Partial and full scholarships for children’s programming are available. To inquire about scholarships and payment plans, please contact Silvana Cardell at silvana@cardelldancetheater.com
