Class description:
This class will introduce children ages 10-12 years old to the fundamentals of Jazz Dance. Students will learn a choreographed routine as well as skills of musicality, teamwork, and creative self-expression. Miss Olivia trained in Jazz Dance and Modern Dance Techniques at the acclaimed Ailey School in New York. She utilizes the Brain Dance Method as well as her pedagogical training with the National Dance Institute to engage and empower her students.
The class will consist of a structured warmup, technical skill-building, time to learn and perform choreography, and a cool down.
