Jazz Dance for Ages 10-12 with Teacher Olivia Brown
Thursdays, 5:15-6:15 pm
Dates:
- Spring 2026 is a 17-class session beginning February 5th and ending June 4th (NO CLASS on April 2nd)
- Fall 2026 is a 16-class session beginning August 27th and ending December 17th (NO CLASS on November 26th)
Fall Registration Rate: $425-one child, $765-two children

Class description:
- This class will introduce children ages 10-12 years old to the fundamentals of Jazz Dance. Students will learn a choreographed routine as well as skills of musicality, teamwork, and creative self-expression. Miss Olivia trained in Jazz Dance and Modern Dance Techniques at the acclaimed Ailey School in New York. She utilizes the Brain Dance Method as well as her pedagogical training with the National Dance Institute to engage and empower her students.
- The class will consist of a structured warmup, technical skill-building, time to learn and perform choreography, and a cool down.
Pickup Program
Cardell Dance Studio offers an after-school pickup service for an additional fee of $240 through LorenTeachesMovement. This pickup service is exclusively for students enrolled in the dance class. We offer pick up from Bache-Martin and Friends Select Schools. This pick up program for older students in grades 5, 6, or 7 includes supervised walk from the school, snack, free play, time for drawing, reading, or homework, and dinner before class at 5:15.
