Instructors Priscilla Ruilova and Kevin Kim
Class Dates:
- Thursday, April 9th–May 14th (6 weeks)
- Last class of the session, Thursday, May 14th will be a Salsa Social open to the public!
Class Description:
Learn fundamentals for salsa on2 for absolute beginners. This is a queer affirming non gendered partnered salsa class. You don’t need to bring a partner to join and can expect rotating between different dance partners. This 6-week series will give you a firm foundation to begin your salsa and social dancing journey. The two hour long classes will be divided into three sections: warm-up and body conditioning, footwork, and partner work. We will play a range of salsa music to also cover elements of salsa music theory and social dancing. Our class will culminate in a dance social at the studio!
You can dance in socks, jazz shoes, or with bare feet for this class. No heels or shoes are allowed in the studio.
